A valve body rated for hot sulfuric acid can still fail at the diaphragm — Netafim's own ALD70 elastomer chart caps sulfuric acid service at 38°C even though the surrounding PP hardware handles far higher temperatures, so the diaphragm rating has to be checked separately on every heap-leach quote.
