Fil-Trek's 98 Series automatic strainer self-cleans on a differential-pressure setpoint rather than a timer, so blowdown fires exactly when solids loading actually rises — a fixed-timer cycle either wastes water on a clean line or lets solids build past the setpoint on a dirty one.
