Product Families

What LibertyCES specifies from Filter Pump

Filter Chambers
C, CB/CBK, CT, MR-SR

Cartridge, bag, and carbon chambers for alkaline/acidic solutions up to 230°F — no metal-to-liquid contact, flow to 200 GPM.

Penguin Series Pumps
P, PHF, PS, PX, MTD

Same family, meaningfully different envelopes by material: P Series 280°F (CPVC/PP/PVDF) vs. PS 316SS -30°F to 211°F for caustics and chlorinated solvents.

Complete Filter Systems
ASF, BF, MF, SM Spacemaker

ASF to 3,400 GPH; MF acid/alkaline systems handle precious metal plating, high chloride, sulfuric, and alkaline cyanide solutions.

Filtration Media & Mixers
Carbon Cartridges, String Wound, PM Mixers

50-micron nominal to 0.10 micron absolute pleated filters, plus 316SS or fully metal-less PM tank-drum mixers.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Filter Pump P, PHF, and PS vertical pumps?

The P Series (CPVC/PP/PVDF) is rated to 280°F. PHF and PX are CPVC-only, rated to 180°F, with double-impeller self-priming and no seals/bushings to wear. PS is 316 stainless steel, rated -30°F to 211°F, built for cleaners, caustics, and chlorinated solvents.

What is the MR-SR Metal Recovery Chamber used for?

It recovers precious metals — up to 3 troy oz per pound of ion exchange resin — from rinse water and drag-out tanks in plating operations, and also improves rinse-water purity for reuse.

What micron range do Filter Pump pleated filters cover?

50-micron nominal down to 0.10 micron absolute, with DOE or SOE end caps and no surfactants or binders that could break down, leach, or migrate into the process fluid.
